Really enjoying this track by sadly defunct Bolognaise mathfrobeat rockers G.I. Joe. Think some or all of them are now in the band In Zaire, so if you like this check that. Over. May buy the 12”. What do you think?

Played a gig with Depakine Chrono in Brno, Czech. They are shit hot. Ciiikaal the drummer runs a cool looking blog where he puts up zip files of albums by Czech bands. Looking forward to getting into some of that at a later date, but for now all I’ve heard is the Depakine Chrono/Dracula Farmers split. Contains three mini epic from Chrono and two tracks from the Farmers. The Chrono tracks are pure slacker math, The Farmers I’ve only listened to through once, but seems like pretty cool weird punk. Lovely.

I dig this Bolognese droney lap steel. It reminds me of Brian Eno’s ambient stuff with a darker, somewhat Eastern edge. Had the tape in our car on tour and listened to it a few times. Good for a mong I reckon. Stream something from it and from a cd-r they had on their recent tour here. We saw them and Buzz Aldrin (more on them when I get my record player back and check out their LP) supporting That Fucking Tank at an awesome show earlier this month. Keep it up lads (and ladette)! Only a few copies left too apparently. Just saying.
Andy from Riot Season records is having a week long charity sale here. Lots of LPs for a fiver, with half the money going to Red Cross’ Tsunami Appeal. Not only is that a great price and an extremely worthy cause, there is also some awesome extremely heavy music to be had. I can personally reccomend both the Sloath LP and the Dethscelator/Hey Colossus split LP. Good lad!
Come on down, we’re on early. Bicth headlining, the awesome Assasins and exciting Umlaut on in between. 3 quid (don’t beleive the poster!). Buy copies of our LP and split 7”. Buy a Fat Bicth t-shirt. Get wasted.

Check out that beautiful cover for the Illness/Fat Bicth split. Available now at both bands shows (for instance, this Wednesday (30th) at the Cowley Club), and also at Edgeworld for those of you who want to buy it at a time of your choosing. Features Rich Psychology by us (playable on the right) and Polterwrist by Fat Bicth (here).
Sorry about lack of posts, I have been very lazy. I will make it up to you with lots of sweet shit over the next week.
Look at that!
By that I mean the info bar on the right of this blog.
Happening things are happening.
P for Persia have got some super cool gigs coming up in Brighton/London/Hastings. Check out their tight post-tour live show and get their new album Coral Canyon. I insist
Special treat for Dan Amos fans. You might have seen his performance at the end of Emilio’s documentary about him. That vid comes from a couple of longer things of him singing and playing guitar/piano. If you go to this link:
You can download MP3s of the guitar half of that performance. All really really great songs, almost all of which were totally new to our ears when we watched it. Please do enjoy it and keep the Dan Amos love circus rolling. Tell your friends! XOX
Sorry about lack of posts, seems hard to find internet for more than about two minutes whilst on tour. Anyway, watch this space! Love you all!!!!
